Our Facilities
On the ground floor a spacious air-conditioned sun lounge provides a peaceful area for residents and their relatives to sit and chat or take afternoon tea. From here the residents have easy wheelchair access to the dining room, lounge and gardens
Peel House has a large mature and well-maintained picture garden, which is accessible to the service users. There is ample parking at the front of the home.
The large lounge is divided into 3 distinct areas where residents may listen to music, watch television or relax quietly.
An up to date Nurse Call System is placed in all bathrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, response times are monitored on the home's computer.
The policy of the home is to encourage independence at all times.

Peel House and its staff are dedicated to providing resident's with privacy, dignity, fulfilment, choice and respect. We aim to provide quality, individually tailored nursing care within a secure relaxed and homely environment.
We strive to achieve person centered care, where the needs of each resident is tailored to them individually.
We use a computerised care system in the home called 'Person Centered Care'. Where all staff document the care they give on a handheld device, access notes and other important information for every resident and updates the entire system immediately.

Residential
Our residential care residents are fairly independent, but should they need assistance, help is always available. Residents have a choice of eating in the privacy of their room, the lounge, or in the dining room.
Respite
& Day Care
Our doors are open for day care visitors who may wish to relax in our homely environment with care on hand, and facilities open to them, including: activities, lunch, health checks and medical advice, help with bathing, hairdressing and chiropody. We are also able to offer respite care.
Your Doctor
Depending on circumstances it may be possible for residents to retain their own GP. If this not possible, the home manager will assist in registration with a local doctor, arrangement can be made should any resident need chiropody, dentistry, physiotherapy and ophthalmic services.
